Midlife Traveling Mayhem

I am a middle aged, married woman with a grown daughter and we work-camp. I am creating this blog to connect a community about midlife, travel, RVing, funny stories, and experiences. Hope you enjoy!

Karma

Some of us learn lessons the hard way.  I know that is what life is all about, but sometimes it’s just funnier when karma steps in.

I think it is important to point out the characteristics of these two totally different individuals. They were both ex-cops. IYKYK. One was very humble, good hearted, and laid back. The other had little man syndrome.  I can say this with confidence, as he said himself that his wife used to pick him up and toss him on the bed. LOL, I know; I still can’t believe he would tell that!

With that being said, I am sure you will not be shocked to know one was very rude and antagonizing to the other.

Good cop was supposed to close the pool at 10:00 p.m. one night. He meant well and set an alarm as a reminder. He then went to dinner with a friend, unknowingly forgetting his phone in the tent outside his camper. By this time, he has completely lost track of time, forgot about the pool, and decided to see a movie. His phone started going off at 10:00pm with his alarm. Here is the best part, the alarm sound was bag pipes, very loudly. Bad cop lived next door and said he was awakened from a deep sleep (at 10:00pm) by bag pipes. He puffed out his chest and went outside to investigate. He realized it was coming from the tent and started beating on the camper door. Now good cop has a Great Dane that was very vocal and very loud. The banging caused him to start barking incessantly. Bad cop could not get the alarm to go off on the phone, and the dog would not stop barking.  This carried on until about midnight.  Bad cop was grumpy the next day due to lack of beauty sleep. 😊

Karma is a funny thing! Be kind!
